Italprogetti offers Exoos, its filtration system for olive oil and other edible oils, based on a diatomaceous earth filter press.
The system performs coarse filtration and polishing in a single pass, bringing the oil directly to a bottling-ready state.
The main advantage is operational efficiency: the machine maintains a constant flow rate throughout the entire working cycle and includes a pressing phase of the exhausted filter cake, which recovers a substantial portion of the oil that would otherwise be lost during filtration.
